We are proud to be serving the Westshore and beyond! Our classes develop strong technique, build strength and endurance, cultivate confident dancers all while encouraging artistry in a fun, professional and creative environment!
EDC focuses on a hierarchy of measures to create a Safer Studio™ environment beginning with requiring students and staff who are ill to stay home, followed by frequent hand cleansing and good hygiene practices, amplified cleaning, and making curricular and facility adaptations to minimizing contact and mingling.
Students are required to wear a body suit or fitted top with spandex shorts, leggings or tights. Students are required to wear beige jazz/modern shoes with their hair in a pony tail or bun out of their face.
Students at a senior level will also be offered Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (I.S.T.D.) examinations. These classes encourage the development of balance, grace and agility. Yearly examinations are offered at all levels.
Once students enter grade 1 at school they proceed into 45 minute to 60 minute classes. More focus is placed on proper technique and execution. We continue to maintain age appropriate music and movement for all age levels.
Classes range from 30 minutes to 75 minutes. Students should wear a bodysuit and tights. Ballet skirts and shorts will be permitted. Pointe shoes required.
Our ballet teen classes provide a unique opportunity for teens and pre-teens who want to train in ballet but have limited or no experience in the discipline.
