Ballet is a very physical art form and is a fantastic way of developing flexibility, co-ordination, balance and poise. Rhythm, musicality and development in expressive, creative and artistic qualities are also nurtured in the ballet class. As ballet is a physical art form, the teacher will need to occasionally use “hands on” correction in order to make sure that the student is performing steps correctly and safely. As the school expands we also hope to add classes in tap, modern jazz, street dance and Pilates. If you are interested in any of these styles please enquire and we will endeavour to meet your needs.
All of our teachers are trained to the highest standard, are DBS checked as well as first aid trained and have your child’s health and safety in mind at all times. The school also holds public liability insurance.
