The grades of ballet to not follow the same ages as public school grades. Our office staff can assist in selecting the proper class for a beginning ballet student.
Since 2009 we have been passionate advocates of the arts, providing hundreds of students with quality education. The Academy was established in a three classroom space in Coral Gables, with only twelve students. In 2014, following several years of steady growth, we moved to a State-of-the-
Art facility custom designed and built with you and your children in mind. Today we proudly serve over1,200 families, both adults and children, delivering a wide variety of music, art, and dance programs in a manner that is unique in Miami.
Ballet serves as the foundation of all forms of dance. every class emphasizes control, balance, alignment and turnout through barre and center exercises.Â
Adult Ballet is a beginning ballet class for adults that includes gentle stretching and strength exercises in addition to basic ballet vocabulary.
Ballet Dance Classes are offered by Contemporary Academy of Dance for all skill level. We provide our students with a safe, encouraging, and fun environment to learn a variety of dance styles.
Classical ballet tailored to each student’s age and ability with special attention paid to proper technique and body placement.
Beginner/Intermediate Ballet features professional dancer and Koresh Company Member alumni Fang Ju-Chou. This class is perfect for students who have prior Ballet experience and the desire to transition into the intermediate level.
