These lessons are one-on-one. You will have a personal coach with you every step of the way.
The Dance Palace was built exclusively for the purpose of a dance studio in 1997 with a sprung floor and high ceilings. Only a few of these wooden microcorus floors exist in South Africa.
Although we teach Ballroom and Latin Mondays through Fridays we are proudly South African and on Saturdays we have “lang-arm” dances till way into the night! Resident DJ’s or live bands provide the music.
Many well known South African bands have performed at The Dance Palace through the years. The Dance Palace was also used in several movies, music videos and National Adverts. The Dance Palace is one of Gauteng’s Premier dance venues. Come alone or with a partner and see for yourself.
The Quickstep evolved in the 1920s from a combination of the Foxtrot, The Chase G Chug, Charleston, Shag, Peabody, and One-Step. One of the great benefits of learning to dance at Expressions Dance Studio is that your dancing will last a lifetime. It is always yours to continue and enjoy.
Ballroom is offered by Jama School of Art Music and Dance.
Cheeky and fun with accents of snappiness and power. Cha cha cha is one of those dances that is usually enjoyed because of its speed and quick movements. This dance is good for all levels and progresses from a beginner stage to advanced stage smoothly making it enjoyable at all levels of dance.
Social Dance classes offered in Latin & Ballroom & Social dance styles, with a fun, relaxing and sociable environment for couples or singles.
Wedding Dance Lessons are offered by The Dance Palace.
