The Dance Palace was built exclusively for the purpose of a dance studio in 1997 with a sprung floor and high ceilings. Only a few of these wooden microcorus floors exist in South Africa.
Although we teach Ballroom and Latin Mondays through Fridays we are proudly South African and on Saturdays we have “lang-arm” dances till way into the night! Resident DJ’s or live bands provide the music.
Many well known South African bands have performed at The Dance Palace through the years. The Dance Palace was also used in several movies, music videos and National Adverts. The Dance Palace is one of Gauteng’s Premier dance venues. Come alone or with a partner and see for yourself.
We offer Ballroom dance classes for beginners to advanced dancers. Tango, Slow Waltz, Foxtrot.
We offer Latin American dance classes for beginners to advanced.
