Barbering (Advance)

This course has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills to an advanced level through a variety of techniques including creatively cutting men’s hair and the intricate specialist work of cutting facial hair. You will also develop a sound knowledge of monitoring health and safety whilst working in the barbering industry.

What will I learn?

During the course, you will learn how to monitor and maintain health and safety practice in the salon, alongside a variety of advanced barbering skills.

These will include creatively cutting men's hair and creating a variety of facial hair looks with the use of clippers, razors, and techniques such as fading, disconnecting, razor cutting, and texturizing.

During the course you will be assessed through practical observation on a range of fee-paying clients, and you will also build a portfolio containing images of the designs that you have created.
