The course is designed to prepare the student to pass the California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology licensing examination and to help the student to obtain the knowledge and skills needed for an entry level position in the beauty field.
Passing the exam is a requisite in order to obtain a Barbering License. The license is a requirement to operate as a Barber in the state of California.
