You will be working on manikin training heads with beards which are 100% human hair for all cutting techniques.
Also (depending on your experience and what your individual needs are) you will be working on live models for a variety of barbering services.
You will build up a portfolio of your work which includes photographs, head sheets and written analysis of each haircut.

Put your creative edge to use with our part-time Hairstyling course. Learn the basics in Hair Care and Styling – whether you’re starting out in the industry or looking to improve upon your skills.
You’ll find out about different hair types and learn a range of hairdressing skills, including shampooing and conditioning using LOreal Matrix products, plaiting and twisting, styling, temporary colouring and scalp massaging.
Our flagship hairdressing and barbering programme in England aimed at new apprentices entering the industry for the first time and which incorporates new employer developed standards at Level 2 along with functional skills and other key components.
We will teach you Micro Bead Weave, Micro Bead individual extensions and Nano Ring extensions. This course is fully certified By Guild of Beauty Therapists and enables you to gain insurance.
