SAN ANTONIO BARISTA ACADEMY offers intensive hands-on training to develop the skills needed to become a professional barista. You will be given individualized training in a conducive learning environment.
DurationThis course covers the fundamentals; cupping and palate development; seed to cup chain; bean grinding and calibrating; milk theory and milk steaming; espresso theory; extraction and profiling; and the basics of equipment maintenance; as well as workflow/ergonomics coupled with a visit to our in house Expresso Bar to observe and see in action what has been learned in the training.
San Antonio Barista Academy is your personalized source for Barista Training. We offer Espresso Method courses taught by Sylvia Miller, Master Barista, who has been an entrepreneur in the coffee industry for over ten years.
You will receive hands-on experience in espresso extraction, grinding, calibrating, milk steaming, drink mixing, and latte art. We are dedicated to inspiring excellence in espresso method and coffee brewing methods, and pallet taste training.

SABA offers it's students an opportunity to intern in the Espresso Bar to serve customers coffee, cold brew, Espresso beverages like Latte, Americano, Cappuccino, Macchiato, and Cortado.
You will learn secret science in milk in the Latte Art Class and how it affects foam’s quality to get world-class level latte art. You will learn how to steam the milk, pitcher grip and pour basic heart, tulip, rosetta, and more.
That way we can promote our partner's outstanding skills at the origin so that your coffee gets better every year.
Training is included with the purchase of commercial espresso equipment.
