Family owned and operated for over 30 years. Originally created by Louis and Laura Blake, the Tigard Decorette Shop was opened in 1982 by Phil and Donna Blake. Phil and Donna retired in January, 2012 and Blake's Decorette Shop is now owned and operated by John and Michelle Blake.
We now have one of the largest inventories of cake-baking supplies and candy making accessories and ingredients of any store in the Northwest. You will find everything you need to go along with your cake, pastry and cupcake recipes.
Through our classes and special seminars, both professional and amateur bakers learn to create and design gorgeous wedding cakes, create luscious candies and truffles, create flowers and we even offer classes for kids!
All of our staff are very knowledgeable and experts at cake decorating and candy making - so you are sure to get the help you need and useful tips and suggestions for your creations.

This tasty morning treat is new to the L’Academie Sunday morning selection. Join us for this delicious designer breakfast pancake, which includes a beautiful array of apple flavors. Be a part of a new L’Academie tradition this Sunday morning.
Learn how to design and shape your own buttercream and frosting cake just like a pro. Classes are approximately 2 hours. You will be working with a 6" round cake and get to take home your creation!
Cake Decorating class is offered by The Cookie Nip. In class, each student receives a pan, a dozen cookies that he or she baked and decorated, recipes, methods, tips, tricks, and six hours of fun in the kitchen with new friends and the discovery of your whole tribe of bakers.
Scratch Cake Making Class is offered by Premier Cakes for all ages and skill levels. Premier Cakes is widely recognized, throughout the state and often the country as a premier bakery that can be depended upon for consistently high quality cakes & desserts, routinely!Â
