By drawing from imagination, copying and from direct observation you will begin to gain a vocabulary in the language of drawing. You will learn to see in a whole new way. We will work primarily in pencil, some pen and charcoal.
Main Concepts covered include composition, design, tone, line, texture and perspective.

Designed for teen students who want to focus on mastering technical skills in the drawing medium. Students will explore the elements and principles of art and design through fun and engaging drawing projects.Â
Students will develop their story-telling skills in a set of drawings that they use to project into 3D paper sculptures. Using repurposed books, students will design individual creatures or landscapes that will bring their story to life.
