Basic First Aid
This 4-hour course will enable delegates to have a better understanding of basic first aid.
Target group
The course is aimed at any employee/volunteer who is working in areas where an emergency may arise, but who does not need emergency first aid or first aid at work qualifications.
Outcomes of the course
Delegates will be able to identify an emergency situation, ensure the safety of themselves a casualty or the public, summon appropriate help, perform lifesaving skills, prevent a casualty’s condition from deteriorating, promote recovery of a casualty, recognise the legal requirements and responsibility of an appointed person.
