Either way, this class is a great place to start. Our "Basic Woodshop Proficiency" will walk you through all the basics of working in a shop.

We will provide identification, demonstration, and safety measures for all your standard shop stationary tools, and most common portable tools. We will also discuss hand tools, finishing, sanding and material prep, shop flow, reading shop drawings, and more! There will be plenty of opportunities for asking questions, trying out tools, and getting comfortable in the shop environment. Additionally, if you are looking for a job in the Nashville woodworking industry, not only will this class will be a great starting point for you, we can also recommend shops in our network that are hiring.
