This is a great way to engage sociably while you keep both mind and body healthy.
Our basketball sessions is a fast action packed fun way to exercise and help to develop skills, such as hand to eye co-ordination, strength, speed and communication. The session will give you a full body work-out and lasts 1 hour including set-up and close-down of the session. You will be required to wear some comfortable clothing and footwear such as shorts, tee-shirt and trainers. We also advise you to bring a bottle of water as it is recommended to all who take part. All other equipment will be provided by Sports In You this will include balls, bibs, or any other necessary equipment.
Our coaches are fully certified and qualified basketball coaches.
By playing basketball you can tone up your thighs, that round belly and burn calories fast.

Sports in You is a Leicestershire-based sports company and was formed in April 2009. The main objective is to increase participation of children and adults in physical activities in our local communities. We also have an aim of making people more active, healthier and help bring communities together using sports.
We will aim to improve social interaction, a reduction in barriers and perceptions between young persons, the elderly, and most vulnerable and single parents within the community. We hope to encourage and preserve the quality of life, within the community through physical exercise, sports activities and other services.
We intend to provide a variety of sports and fitness sessions. All our coaches are fully qualified in their chosen field of sport with the correct governing body qualifications and have acquired experience to work with all ages. First-aid qualifications and CRB checks will be carried out with all coaches.
All our procedures are of a high quality and meet the required standards and regulations through health and safety checks and risk assessments on all venues we use to deliver our sport sessions.
Our team of Basketball Development Officers deliver a range of services and activities across Manchester. This includes working with our education and club partners, primary and secondary school coaching etc.
The hall is also used for various other sporting activities including 5-a-side, wrestling and circuit training as well as Junior Y and team building events. At the top of the sports hall we also have a 100m running track.
