Course Details

Prairie Songstress Music provides custom guitar, voice, piano, ukulele and songwriting lessons. The lessons are fun, effective, and tailored to meet the interests and learning style of each individual.  Lessons are available in your own home or in our studio.

 

What You Need:

  • Instrument of choice (ukulele, piano, violin, bass guitar, acoustic or electric guitar)

  • Battery powered tuner (for stringed instruments only)

  • Capo (for stringed instruments only)

  • Light gauge guitar picks (for stringed instruments only)

  • Guitar humidifier (for acoustic guitars)

  • Binder or duotang

  • As a jazz musician and a chorister, Clarenz is not a stranger to the joys of creating music with other musicians. Clarenz plays the guitar, piano, and bass. She has her grade 5 Conservatory Certification in piano, has been playing guitar for several years, and has self-taught on the bass since 2012. She has been singing for almost her whole life, and has had numerous experience colaborating with a number of different singers. Over the years, she has been involved in a variety of musical groups, like the Greystone Singers and the Saskatoon Youth Jazz Orchestra. She is very excited to share her musical knowledge with other aspiring musicians! Clarenz will be offering piano, voice, guitar and bass lessons at our studio location, 2811 estey Drive in Saskatoon.
