Guitar classes are offered by Hastings Piano Teacher. Hastings piano teacher Wendy Hunt is the person for you. Wendy is happy to teach all, from young children to mature adults, from beginners to advanced students.Â
This class is suitable for students who would like to read music for the guitar. The eventual goal will be to play solo classical guitar pieces and play in a guitar ensemble – this being a fun way to learn how to read music and play the instrument.
Guitar students should be coordinated enough to operate both hands independently. Students will learn plucking skills, how to read guitar music and some chords.
