SkillsFuture Eligible Culinary Courses
The SkillsFuture Credit which is made available to Singaporeans aged 25 years old and above may be used to pay for most of SSACI’s courses such as the Baking for a Living and the Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) series.
What’s more, for the WSQ courses, participants may get up to 70% subsidy to enroll for them.
Focaccia nad Ciabatta – both are popular and well-liked Italian bread. Focaccia a flat oven-baked Italian bread, similar in style and texture to pizza; in some places, it is called “pizza bianca”.
The aim of this module is to enable learners to design, prepare and produce a range of Café style and Sourdough breads. They will learn to evaluate and improve the quality of Café Style and Sourdough breads Bread.
In this 1-day comprehensive hands-on class, participants will acquire the skills and knowledge of bread making, and how to produce an irresistible assortment of sweet and savoury buns & rolls, including Floss Buns, Sausage Rolls, Cheese Twists, Chocolate Spirals and Red Bean Buns.
Malu Paan is one of the more unique bread that you can find in Sri Lanka. It’s a triangular-shaped bun filled with tuna and potato curry. Learnt to make this at home. It is a convenient and healthy on the go breakfast.
This course is developed based on WSQ National Competency Standard for the Food and Beverage Operations Industry.
