Beauty Therapy Course (VTCT SVQ Level 2)

The foundation of any successful career in Beauty Therapy is the SVQ Level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification. Accredited by VTCT and delivered by our experienced team this qualification ensures you have the required skills for any avenue within the industry.

The complete SVQ Level 2 Qualification is suitable for learners new to the industry and no pre-requisite training is required. As a centre we require all learners to have a good understanding of English and a commitment to attend training.

This course would include the following units:

• Provide Facial Skincare Treatments
• Carry Out Waxing Services
• Enhance the Appearance of the Eyebrows
• Enhance the Appearance of the Eyelashes
• Provide Manicure Services
• Provide Pedicure Services
• Provide Make Up Services
• Provide Gel Polish Services
• Enhance and Maintain your Effectiveness at Work

The above units contain a combination of anatomy and physiology theory and practical observations. Whilst some the above content may not be of interest to you in a practical sense, the theory elements of each unit will provide you with the necessary foundation knowledge to further your studies in your preferred area of interest.

This qualification is internationally recognised with both employers and insurance companies. Following completion of this course you would be able to progress to train in Dermaplaning, Micro Skin Needling and Skin Peels if that is your preferred route. Alternatively, you may wish to further your knowledge and skills with the SVQ Level 3 Spa and Beauty Therapy course.
