Course Details

This is an intense course which is designed to train candidates to provide expert treatments of Beauty Therapy Electrical Facial (level 3) to the highest standards.

This enables candidates to insure themselves to work in the beauty industry, independently or as a mobile therapist. This also enables the student to obtain licensing via local council and or local government to carry out specialist treatments.

You will also receive a professional training manual together with a step-by-step treatment procedure to help guide you through the treatments you have learned. This is yours to keep to give you the complete confidence needed to provide these treatments within the beauty industry.

 

Week 1 – Galvanic Electrical Facial Treatment:

Full Salon Health & Safety. Methods used to sterilise and sanitise salon tools and equipment. Client consultations and contra-indications to electrical treatments, Structure & function of the skin. How ageing affects the skin. Skin analysis. Skin diseases and disorders, characteristics of black and Asian skin, . A&P of relevant bones, muscles & lymphatic systems. Preparation for treatment, product knowledge. Use of products and equipment for galvanic treatments, Practice session for students to perform galvanic treatments. Client aftercare advice. Guide to Retail & Pricing of (Galvanic) treatments.

 

Week 2 – High Frequency Facial & Body Treatments – (Mini assessment on previous week):

Methods used to sterilise and sanitise salon tools and equipment. Client consultations and contra-indications to high-frequency treatments, treatment preparation and trolley set up. Product knowledge to skin types and products used for high frequency treatments. Direct and indirect use of high frequency facial treatments, Full demonstrations and use of equipment. Use of ampoules to complement treatments. Practice session for students to perform high frequency facial treatments. Client aftercare advice. Guide to Retail & Pricing of (High Frequency) Treatments.

 

Week 3 – Micro Current (Non-surgical Face Lift) – (Mini assessment on previous week):

Methods used to sterilise and sanitise salon tools and equipment. Client consultations and contra-indications to micro current treatments, product knowledge. The effects and use of equipment for micro current treatments including; Desincrustation circulation, lymphatic drainage, contour lifting, application of collagen ampoules, iontophorisis and ph balance. Recommended treatment techniques for performing micro current treatments. Practice session for students to perform treatments. Client aftercare advice. Guide to Retail & Pricing of treatments.

 

Week 4 – Electrical Bust Contour Lifting Treatments – (Mini assessment on previous week):

Methods used to sterilise and sanitise salon tools and equipment. Client consultations and contra-indications to bust lifting contour treatments. Products used, treatment preparation and trolley set up. Full demonstrations of use of equipment for bust lifting contour treatments. Treatment procedure and techniques. Practice session for students for performing bust lifting treatments. Client aftercare advice. Guide to Retail & Pricing of (Bust Lifting) treatments.

 

Week 5 – Electrical Upper Arm Contour Lifting Treatment – (Mini assessment on previous week):

Methods used to sterilise and sanitise salon tools and equipment. Client consultations and contra-indications to upper arm contour lifting treatments, Products used, treatment preparation and trolley set up, Full demonstrations and use of equipment for upper arm contour lifting treatments. Treatment procedure and techniques. Practice session for students to perform upper arm lifting treatment. Client aftercare advice. Guide to Retail & Pricing of treatments.

 

Week 6 – Body Treatments:

Methods used to sterilise and sanitise salon tools and equipment. Client consultations and contra-indications, treatment preparation and trolley set up. Spa body treatments including cellulite, seaweed and aromatherapy body treatments. Measure and wrap techniques. Application of professional products tailored to suit individual clients needs. Practice session for students for perform body treatments. Client aftercare advice. Guide to Retail & Pricing of treatments.

 

Weeks 7 & 8 – Commercial Salon:

These two days gives you an extra opportunity to practice the treatments you have learned and any treatments which you feel needs that extra attention to give you the confidence needed to perform these treatments in the beauty industry.
