Dance Glasgow opened it's doors in 2010, occupying just the top floor of our Ruthven Lane studio, with the intention of bringing accessible dance to adults who thought it was too late to learn and for those who were looking to return after dancing in their childhoods.
In 2012 we extended into the downstairs floor, adding another studio and in 2015 we opened our second venue in the centre of Glasgow - Studio 22.
We now run classes for all levels, Absolute Beginners to Advanced across both of our studios and continue to enjoy bringing Dance to all.
Our highly trained and certified instructors have a wealth of experience in teaching and performing various styles and disciplines.
We have a passion for the art of dance and for helping others discover their inner dancer. We always aim to provide a friendly atmosphere and welcome anyone who wants to join us.
Contemporary dance classes are offered by SD Studios. Founded by professional performer Sarah Smith, SD Studios aim to give students the highest possible level of performing arts training to create well rounded, "triple threat" performers.
Discovering different techniques and interpretations, contemporary is a modern dance technique class.
Creative Contemporary Dance (10yrs +) classes are offered by Dance For All. All classes at Dance For All are a great way to exercise and provide a progressive learning experience, allowing you to hone your dancing skills while building a more flexible and supple body.
Contemporary/ Lyrical Fusion 1 classes are offered by JustOne Theatre Arts Ltd. JustOne Theatre Arts Ltd provide exceptional sessions in Dance, Singing and Acting. Each student has the opportunity to take Ofqual accredited examinations in each of our core subjects singing LCM, ABRSM, dance ISTD, GC...
Contemporary classes are offered by Southampton Dance Academy. Southampton Dance Academy work extremely hard to share our extensive and constantly evolving knowledge of dance with children and adults, utilising inspiring music and excellent syllabi in beautiful spaces.
