We are open for In-Person Adult and Kids classes. We are a Latin Dance School that offers an array of Classes for Adults and Kids. For Adults we offer – Salsa – Bachata – Zumba – Belly Dancing – Cha Cha. For Kids Ages 3 & up – We offer Ballet – Hip Hop – Salsa.
We host workshops, classes, and training intensives across many levels and genres of movement arts, from hip-hop to bellydance, contemporary to contortion, African Dance and Drum, jazz to juggling and more.
Hip Hop Dance Classes are offered by South Bay Dance Center for all ages and skill level. South Bay Dance Center is recognized by many bay area professional dancers and college faculty members as the premiere dance education facility for serious dance students in the greater San Jose region.
Students ages 7 and up are invited to join our fun, high-energy Hip-Hop class. Age appropriate movement and music are used in this fast-paced class. With its roots in street jazz, pop and lock, commercial, and pedestrian styles, Hip Hop is a constantly evolving form of dance.
Hip-Hop is a vibrant style of dance that includes breaking, locking, popping and other hip-hop style dance moves.
Civic Dance Arts Beginner Hip Hop 1A is a fun and engaging class designed to introduce your child to the basics of hip hop dance. Students will learn how to warm up, stretch and do strengthening exercises to music and learn basic hip hop steps and combinations to music.
