Our team is headed up by founder Katie who is a trained professional dancer and teacher.
Since opening in 2009, we’ve welcomed to the studios a wide variety of dance styles from belly dancing to break dancing, opened our doors to people of all abilities, and welcomed clients from the BBC, West End Theatre companies, local businesses, party planners and wedding couples, who have used the space for a wide range of activities.

Belly Dancing Course Is Offered By Freelance Dance. We are a community dance studio based in the heart of Jesmond, offering a full timetable of dance and fitness classes to customers of all dance abilities, both in-studio and online.
Oriental Belly Dance (Women Only) classes are offered by Live Wire Dance Studio. Supporting dancers by offering year round, clean, affordable, central studio space for classes, rehearsals, workshops and more.
In this class every week we will go through a new choreography as well as learning new exciting moves. We will often cover different styles of belly dance in each class, such as oriental, shaabi, Moroccan and more.
Beginners Belly classes are offered by Glasgow Dance Centre. We have a diversity of highly skilled and qualified dance teachers, dancers and performers who are ready ti take you on your journey through dance.
