This course meets the requirements for National Certification for CPR from the American Heart Association (AHA). You will learn how to respond to emergencies involving infants, children, and adults.
The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider CPR course is designed to train healthcare professionals on recognizing and responding to several life-threatening emergencies.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is the foundation for saving lives after cardiac arrest. Students learn completely in person in a combination of video driven lectures, followed by a hands-on session, and final written and skills testing before earning their CPR certification.
The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)Â Â covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask), foreign-body airway obstruction, and automated external defibrillation.
