Course Details

The Baking and Pastry classes are designed for participants who wish to learn specific segment of this very creative culinary art.

Yeast-based artisan bread and rolls, pastry doughs and batters, breakfast pastries, quick breads, filled and assembly cakes and torts, wedding cakes, cookies, custards, creams, mousses and soufflés, icing, glazes and sauces, frozen desserts, pies, tarts and fruit desserts, plated desserts, chocolate and sugar candies, sugar confectionary center pieces.

Candidates may take any of classes as they are offered as scheduled.

There are no prerequisites required from prior classes.

Participants may also select and choose any week/s from different classes to complete a four-week class.

A couple of examples are mentioned below to elaborate on this:

  • A student may take 1 week from Class 1, and 3 weeks from Class 4
  • A student may take 1 week from Class 2, 1 week from Class 3, 1 week from Class 4, and 1 week from Class 5
  • The student can then attend the respective classes as per schedule
