Lydia’s Oven offers a wide variety of classes, ranging from all time Favourite such as Lapis cake, Russian cake, Café cakes, Brownies and more… Not forgetting learn how to cook our popular cuisines, such as Indian Briyani rice, Chinese Dim sum and Thai cooking.
The training objective of this module is to equip learners with the competencies to make basic breads, as well as to work professionally in a pastry kitchen or bakery.
We see our junior ones manipulate kitchen cutlery and handle raw ingredients in their teams with confidence and finesse;
The aim of this module is to enable learners to design, prepare and produce a range of Café style and Sourdough breads. They will learn to evaluate and improve the quality of Café Style and Sourdough breads Bread.
Our Baking Studio is a unique one, very much different from the usual baking studios. We are not a traditional baking school with open group classes.
Is there anything more lovely than the aroma of freshly-baked bread or the warm crunch of a crusty loaf? If you think that commercially-produced bread is not the healthiest option, or just want to learn how to bake delicious bread at home, then this workshop is for you!
