Each cake class offers a unique cake design created just for that class using a 6″ vanilla cake. Everything you need will be provided for you, including the cake or cupcakes, buttercream, sprinkles, and a box to take home your awesome creation—we just need YOU!
My name is Esther Bouabre, owner of Esther’s Cakes N Sweets here in Ottawa, Ontario, the nation’s capital. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved baking. As a child, I told myself that someday, I would open my own “shop” and call it “A Little Girl’s Dream.” I had a passion for making people smile with my creations. Having baked cakes, cookies and other treats for my friends and family, I decided to take my passion and turn it into what is now an award-nominated business.

In this class you will be guided through all the steps to making this cake, including the pastry cream filling, shaping the dome, and making the little marzipan rose to go on top
This course introduces students to the basic technical and essential design principles, guidelines for cake assembly and basic decorative techniques. Topics include composition and the use of colors.
