The elegant delight of a light and lacy crepe is easy to achieve with a few basic techniques. In this class we will cover both sweet and savory crepe batters with an assortment of fillings. We will also explore multiple options for using crepes such as Parisian style, blintz and crepe cakes.
Simplicity is key! During this class, you will learn how to fill, smooth ice, and decorate your vanilla bean cake with beautifully painted buttercream flowers.
We’re learning the foundations of cake decorating and a few piping techniques. The first part of the lesson will be a toast to make sure we’re ready to take on the challenge. Next, we’ll concentrate on basic skills and proper technique of placing the layers together.
