DurationOur Cake Decorating Cooking Course is perfect for anyone who loves cake making and wants to perfect their decorating skills. You will learn to buttercream a cake with style and add a drip detail along with meringue shards and other decorations.
We'll provide all the ingredients, equipment, refreshments, and recipes you need for the evening, so all you need to do is come along and enjoy yourself. At the end of the course, you'll take away your beautiful creation.
The course will run from 6pm until 8pm and include refreshments. Whether you are looking to improve your cooking skills or just want to have a fun evening out, this course is perfect for you.
We are based in the heart of Suffolk, in a picturesque setting at Kenton Hall Estate. The estate boasts a wedding venue, glamping site and 180 Hectare mixed arable and livestock farm. The school was built in a converted cow byre which also houses a butcher with smokehouse and curing facilities as well as a commercial kitchen. The cookery school was opened in 2014, it has recently been refurbished in 2023 and is now a Miele partnership cookery school.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dedicated work stations for up to 12 people. There is a chef tutor station with camera and screens in the kitchen for demonstrations. When the school was designed we wanted students to feel welcome and at home, but also experience the professional feel of a highly performing kitchen.
The school offers a relaxed, informal setting where people of all abilities can come and learn, eat and make some great memories. We have partnered with some of the industries top brands including Kenwood and Oxo, you will be sure to only use the best in equipment on your course with us.
Become a brilliant baker with our cake baking class! Over three hours, you will explore different methods of making cakes and learn the all-important rules for successful baking. You’ll acquire a lovely and varied cake repertoire, including butter cakes, oil-based cakes and quick cakes.
Afternoon tea is a lovely treat, taking time out for a chat and to relax while having delicious treats to eat. In this experience you will also make your own afternoon tea, as well as having the opportunity to enjoy it.
The Classy Cupcakes class is a colourful and fun cupcake decorating class perfect for both beginner and intermediate level.
