The Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults, or CELTA, is a qualification for proficient English speakers planning to teach English as a foreign language.
The certificate is specifically designed for those with little or no previous teaching experience. Awarded by Cambridge ESOL, CELTA is one of the few internationally recognised English language teaching qualifications.
The Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (DET), formerly known as the Diploma to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS), is an exciting new addition to our suite of teacher training qualifications. It is the recognised teaching qualification for the post-16 and adult sector.
