You will graduate in just 5 months with a diverse range of practical skills ready for a rewarding career, enabling you to make a difference in the lives of others. On successful completion of the Certificate III in Individual Support, you may progress to the CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support or the HLT54121 Diploma of Nursing*.
Delivery:
This course is offered face-to-face at the University of Wollongong main campus in Wollongong. Course delivery will occur in UOW classrooms and the UOW College Simulated Nursing Lab.
How you’ll learn
You will learn a range of factual, technical and procedural skills, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support. Using discretion and judgement in relation to individual support as well as taking responsibility for your own outputs, you will develop practice skills to succeed in the individual support industry.

You will be required to successfully complete 13 units of competency including 7 core and 6 elective units and 120 hours of practical work placement to complete this qualification.
