Acceptance into the course is based on your application to apply for the NEIS program. The course will give you confidence to start your own business by providing you with knowledge and information to prepare a comprehensive business plan. A solid business plan is the most important step for your business.
On completion of the course and a satisfactory business plan, you will be considered for a NEIS contract. If your business is deemed to be viable, you will be put onto a NEIS contract which provides you with business advice and support for up to 12 months.
You may also be eligible to receive a fortnightly allowance from the Commonwealth Government in addition to your business profits for that same period.
