The CACHE Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of End of Life Care will develop students knowledge and understanding of how to work in end of life care. This qualification will give students working in, or intending to work in, healthcare and social care the knowledge and understanding of end of life care to support their role.
Students will develop knowledge of the support needed to manage pain and discomfort. Students will learn how dementia impacts on the end of life and will understand the role of the care worker in the time of death. An understanding of the loss and grief process will be achieved.
