An organization’s success depends on its ability to foresee the need to change course or respond quickly to unexpected situations. This foundation course introduces key terminology and concepts used in the change process while considering the needs for an acceptable balance between people, process, and technology to ensure the health and sustainability of the organization.

  • Describe tools and techniques used to assess the organization’s capacity and readiness for change.
  • Examine how a comprehensive plan can support successful change.
  • Define Change Management practitioner roles and responsibilities and how they work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Describe methods for addressing resistance and encouraging adoption.
  • Identify the types of infrastructure an organization can adopt to support change.
  • Examine methods for organizations to continually improve their ability to implement change.
