Chemical Engineering (N3-N6)

BTC is the only fully-accredited private technical college in Durban with qualifications issued by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). It offers a range of accredited programmes designed by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) and with exams set by the National Department of Higher Education and Training.

• The campus consists of (31) lecture venues, an extensive library, 4 computer labs, modern laboratories and a team of highly skilled industry-proficient lecturers.

• It offers an electric student vibe with a student recreational area and in-house cafeteria.

• It is located near all transport hubs, and aptly surrounded by several student accommodation facilities and food and retail options within walking distance from the campus.

• Its dynamic Student Support services focuses on Work Integrated Learning (WIL), Work Readiness and Internships for students. Wellness and the Student Health are taken care of by our campus counsellor who provides a tailored counselling service for students experiencing any form of trauma or personal challenges.

• The Centre for Student Relations (CSR) is an added online support service to students, who require additional guidance academically and is an attentive customer service to all students

• The BTC social and cultural calendar offers students a perfect balance to their academic curriculum with our popular Mr and Miss Berea Tech, our annual sports day, braai day and student concerts.
