Courses
Courses include working at height training, confined spaces and gas detection, hazard identification, rescue team training, dangerous goods license endorsement, breathing apparatus, fire extinguisher and evacuation warden training, handling hazardous substances and health and safety representative courses.

This chemical handling unit standard is for people preparing for, and intend to apply for, Certified Handler certification under the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017.
People credited with this unit standard are able to describe the principles of health and safety risk assessment; and apply health and safety risk assessment to a job role in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry good practice.
