A chemical peel is not as scary as the name would suggest. It is simply resurfacing the skin and getting rid of all the dead skin cells, stimulating the growth of new skin cells.
During this skin resurfacing procedure, glycolic acid or lactic acid (alpha hydroxy acids) will be applied to the area being treated, which causes the dead skin to exfoliate and eventually peel off. Once this happens, the new skin underneath is often smoother and hydrated, as the skin starts to produce more collagen.
I can customise your program and decide on the depth of your skin peel treatment to target your specific skin concern whether it be anti ageing, uneven skin tone or pigmentation. A course of treatments is recommended to receive the best results.
