What is a chemical peel?

A chemical peel is a treatment that uses a potent solution to lift away the upper skin layer. It is important to note this is not the same procedure as abrasive resurfacing I.e. microdermabrasion or dermaplaning.

Chemical peels are growing increasingly popular because the removal of epidermal layers stimulates new tissue growth. In many cases, the newly formed skin that replaces the peeled layer is healthier and the skin surface is more radiant and evenly toned.

Skin peels help treat the top layers of the skin but also penetrates the mid and lower levels delivering tighter, stronger, more glowing skin.
