During this eight week course you will be taught from the simple things such as how to fit skirting boards and hang door right through to how to fit stairs and build cut roofs.
Upon completion of this course students will have gained a vast array of knowledge and completed numerous practical projects and tests, you must complete and pass all of the following modules in order to gain this qualification.
Since 2006, we have provided high quality, hands-on construction and welding skills. Whilst most of our students are individuals looking to train for a career in the building trades, we have trained students that came to us through Local Councils.

The Builder Training Centre (The BTC) offers high quality structured Carpentry Courses, which can be attended as a 5 day course during the week (Monday to Friday) or, for those that have commitments during the week, a weekend course (2 consecutive weekends).
The BWRP workshop is always a hub of activity. Our staff strive to teach our volunteers the skills they need to create and build furniture from reclaimed timber, as well as giving them the confidence to start projects of their own.
