Learn to sculpt online using sophisticated digital tools! This 3-session series is a beginner friendly class where students use Blender 2.8, focusing on incorporating digital tools with traditional sculpting principles.
Beginners and more advanced students alike express their creativity through sculpture. Sculpture is taught in relief, additive and subtractive methods. Materials such as clay, plaster and concrete allow students to choose the proper medium for their desired work of art.
During this course, the basic forms and techniques of pottery will be covered. Glazing and surface decoration will also be taught.
Introduction to Sculpting at the AMUA provides students with a vital, strong base knowledge and skill set they can build on in their future SFX courses.
Transform what is in your imagination into 3-dimensional sculptures. Subjects can include animals, photos, sketched ideas or wherever your inspiration takes you.
