A Contemporary technique class suitable for beginners+ / improvers
DurationThis class is suitable for dancers with some experience with contemporary dance, and will work through roll downs, curves, plies, tendus, floor work and travelling.
Those with more experience also welcome to attend as progressions for each exercise can be given to increase difficulty.Whilst giving you a great work out, the class will help you gain an understanding of the technique behind the movements, improve body awareness, co-ordination, and musicality.
A great way to gain some prior knowledge to help you feed into the beginners level contemporary class.
Not suitable for complete beginners to contemporary dance.

Contemporary Dance Course Is Offered By Chisenhale Dance. Chisenhale Dance Space grew out of the X6 collective. This was a group of five dance artists who wanted to work independently of any established company or organisation.
Primary Contemporary MJ classes are offered by Spotlight Theatre Dance Studio. We pride ourselves on having a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, with our main aim being that pupils learn through fun and enjoyment.
Intermediate Contemporary are offered by Signature Dance Studios. We offer a friendly atmosphere with classes in a wide range of dance styles.
