There will be several levels of this class on offer with an exciting ATOD syllabus in contemporary.
Contemporary is taught at performing arts high schools and at HSC level and the style has been made even more popular with television shows such as So You Think You Can Dance ect. Students from Grade 2 ballet can enjoy this style.
Junior Contemporary dance classes focus on natural free-flowing movements that will help students explore their body’s potential for movement and get them used to travelling through the dance space.
The modern expressive syllabus taught enhances each students own musicality & natural emotion for lyrical music. The art of contemporary dance produces a strong controlled dancer with a keen concept of phrase changes in a musical piece.
We teach a range of contemporary styles including the popular lyrical contemporary.
