This course meets the requirements for National Certification for CPR from the American Heart Association (AHA). You will learn how to respond to emergencies involving infants, children, and adults.
You are introduced to lifesaving techniques, rescue breathing, one- and two-person cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), abdominal thrusts and the Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Our classes are taught by medical professionals in EMS and Nursing with 25 years of experience. PREVENT! Fire & Life Safety, LLC has been providing safety training and education in Arizona since 2005.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is the foundation for saving lives after cardiac arrest. Students learn completely in person in a combination of video driven lectures, followed by a hands-on session, and final written and skills testing before earning their CPR certification.
The Basic Life Support (BLS) Course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
