Winnipeg First Aid offers health care provider CPR (CPR HCP) and AED courses. This is a stand-alone CPR course in which no first aid certification is included. This course is the most advanced CPR course offered by this workplace approved provider.
CPR HCP is designed for candidates that are working in or planning to work in the health care industry.

Course Content:
Candidates in this CPR HCP and AED course will learn the skills to recognize and treat adult, child and infant victims of the following emergencies:
Unconscious and breathing.
Unconscious, not breathing with circulation.
Unconscious, not breathing and no circulation.
Unconscious, not breathing with or without circulation using a bag-valve mask.
Unconscious obstructed airway.
Conscious obstructed airway.
In cardiac arrest requiring a automated external defibrillator.
Suffering from cardiovascular emergencies.
Workplace Approved Certification:
Candidates that successfully complete this course will receive a workplace approved CPR HCP and AED certificate. Certification is nationally accredited throughout Canada.
