DurationCreative Video teaches students about the video production process by creating an engaged and democratic class room environment. Students learn important story telling skills, basic video production and depending on the resources, video editing and effects.
We also teach media literacy skills, helping students understand the ever changing media with themes subjects as bias, stereotypes, advertising and navigating the internet safely. Students will have access to a digital download of their creations.
Coop Collective Vision’s mission is to empower youth with the ability to produce and broadcast their own media in a creative and supportive environment.
Through digital storytelling, participants explore a variety of media platforms including stop-motion animation, photography, video production, on camera acting and more.

Each hands-on film course begins with a sequence of short film projects; by rising to challenges set by the instructor and critiquing the results, students further the skills they need to create their own short film.
Graduating students will be participating in 4 workshops: Filmmaking, Acting on Camera and Photography, creating memorable movie (Flash-mob on their favorite song) and making pictures for their own scrapbooks.
This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of filmmaking.
Film and Television – Business is a unique program offered by the School of Communication, Media, Arts and Design that will prepare you to take on the business aspects of the television and film production industry.
