By focusing on producing a new story every week that (to at least some extent) fulfils the requirements of a different genre, you will learn new story techniques and add flexibility to your narrative voice.
Students will learn about the history of genres such as Mystery/Suspense, Romance/Erotica and Historical and Political Fiction, as well as about common story structures, plotting techniques and implications of the genre for fictional language. An ideal course for anyone who is serious about developing the necessary skills to become an independent writer.
