CDTs take their own impressions and make and fit dentures themselves, so no messages are lost in translation. This ultimately gives patients a better result and the whole process is more consistent and efficient.
Our investment in our skills and the latest technology means our denture patients can be measured and fitted for their dentures in just one day. Our CDT can make all the necessary adjustments there and then to ensure patients enjoy comfortable, snug-fitting dentures. This level 3 apprenticeship is aimed at those currently working in an oral healthcare setting and provides an excellent start to a career in dentistry and oral health.
This course is designed to train and prepare qualified dental technicians for the Diploma in Clinical Dental Technology exam at the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh).
This hands-on course is designed to train dentists to interpret and write reports on CBCT scans limited to dento-alveolar regions. The course content is modified from the Level 2 training criteria published in the latest UK guidelines.
This course will provide the underpinning knowledge, skills and expertise to register with the General Dental Council as a qualified Dental Nurse. This course includes a practice placement within a dental setting to develop enhanced skills, knowledge and expertise.
