Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a physical/mechanical exfoliating skin care treatment that removes dead skin cells build of impurities and vellus hair (Peach fuzz).

Dermaplaning is an extremely safe treatment when performed by a professionally trained skin care specialist/ aesthetician that utilize the appropriate tools for the service.

Dermaplaning is the controlled scraping of the skin for the removal of keratinized cells on the outer stratum corneum and fine vellus hair that traps dirt and oil. A small sterile blade is held at a 45-degree angle while holding the skin taut, swiping the blade in a gentle upward motion.
