From local start-up to agile pioneers

SoftEd was first formed in 1990 as a result of a management buy-out of Datacom Education from Datacom Systems, one of Australasia's largest IT services organisations.  

From start-up beginnings in New Zealand, we now operate from a network of offices that span Australia, Asia, New Zealand, and the United States.  Today we have built a team that boasts internationally recognised thought leaders in agility and offer a wealth of experience in building organisational capability and have helped some of the world’s best-known brands to grow their culture and capabilities.

In 2021, SoftEd became part of the Skills Consulting Group, a full-service consultancy specialising in learning and development, workplace wellbeing, and education consulting.
