Our two-year study programme in NCFE Sports Coaching will give you the foundations in both knowledge and practical experience to prepare you for higher education or the workplace.
The first-year will see you study a Diploma in Sports Coaching, before then having the option of studying an Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching in your second year.
Modules of study are selected to cover a diversity of areas within the sports industry enabling you to make informed choices as to whether to study for a degree, enter apprenticeships or the workplace at the end of your studies.

The Tigers Sport and Education Trust is a charity which aims to make a difference to people’s lives by involving them in sport.
Through our work, the Tigers Trust promote the values linked with sporting success and we help up-skill participants through practical activity as well as running courses, events and promoting our work in schools across the Hull and East Yorkshire region. Involvement in community sport projects can help tackle a wide range of issues including health, youth crime and unemployment.
With a workforce of around 40 full and part time members of staff, a large cohort of volunteers and participants and a high profile association with professional football, the Tigers Trust is dedicated to helping our local communities to live active, healthy and happy lives.

This course looks at Physical Education from a theoretical perspective with some applied practical elements. You need to be aware that the opportunity for practical performance is limited within the delivery of this programme.
The Swansea University Schools’ Partnership (SUSP) draws upon the University’s considerable academic expertise in supporting the development of effective primary teachers. SUSP provides high-quality ITE based on the principle of integrated learning.
Sports coaching and development, is a key aspect in the expanding sports industry across the UK, from grass routes level to high performance sports.
This course will focus on working in primary education, and examine the wider perspective of supporting children's play, learning and development in a range of childhood practice settings.
This course is for you if you want a career working with children up to the age of 7 years. The course is challenging and requires stamina and organisational skills; students find the experience on the course life changing and rewarding.
