The qualification has been devised to provide students with a fantastic understanding of all aspects of carpentry; a very in depth course to have you industry-ready and competent across a range of skills.
You will complete a minimum of 30 hours of on-the-job experience within the industry and have the opportunity to work on many live projects in the community.
Woods Craft course is offered by J G Graves Woodland Discovery Centre for all skill level. Our courses are suitable for all abilities and we offer advanced courses for those who want to take their skills a little further.
This occupation involves carrying out skilled work, primarily using timber products, either on a construction site or in a workshop, creating and installing building components.
